I have a 14" bandsaw, that is set up for resawing, but I needed another to make small toys. I purchased this saw this year and have used it a lot. I run 3/16" blades on it cutting small toys requiring curves. It works well and the only issue I have had is, one of the guide bearings failed.

I should have noted mentioned that I silver solder my band saw blades. Can't tell you the alloy but the solder is wire about .060 in diameter and used with regular paste flux. I've been using it for years and never have broke a blade. I do use the blades on an old HF 14" work bandsaw if that matters. Soldering does eliminate the need for tempering.
